Laura J. (Nazlian) Janczak
In the early 90's I was working for a wholesale club as a manager in their public relations and marketing department.
I became friendly with a chiropractor and his wife who shopped at the store frequently for office supplies and such.
As we got to know each other they offered me a position in their office to manage it as well as educate the public about the natural solution of chiropractic, and to do health screenings, health talks, etc. The position soon blossomed and I loved it and they loved me! It was great match. I was so excited to work in a field where I truly believed in what I was doing. Being an advocate of health personally, it was a very natural transition.
Over the years I have been able to see the changes that chiropractic has made in people's lives, literally giving hope to individuals and families of people who have suffered so much. Having had migrane headaches myself for 12 years I too have experienced the benefits of chiropractic. I no longer suffer as I once did. Also, many members in my own family have benefited from care for the treatment of headaches to hip and low back pain.
It was in the fall of 2002 that I decided that I would have the most impact and ability to help people if I opened my own practice. It has been a challange and blessing to be part of a thriving and caring environment where people get better and the patient gets the personal care they deserve. When I say we bend over backwards for you and that we're flexible it's kind of a play on words but is also how serious we are about making the patient happy. A personal note about Laura: Laura is the practice owner, C.A., and Certified Spinal Screener. She likes to run outdoors, work out, and is an active member at Truth Baptist Church in South Windsor. She is happily married to Henry and together they have three beautiful children.
Dr. George P. Sulikowski
Dr.Sulikowski is a licensed Chiropractor that graduated from Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri in 1985. His undergraduate degree was obtained at Norwich University, with a B.A in English Literature. Dr. Sulikowski became a chiropractor because a friend of the family was a chiropractor and had a made a great impression on him in his youth. In high school he started to develop an interest in nutrition and health, For a short while he worked at the Springfield Newspaper and the city of Chicopee and then decided to pursue his dream of helping others through chiropractic. He feels that chiropractic has been a challenging and a life changing experience for him. He enjoys helping others and specializes in all spinal related health problems through the Diversified technique as well as utilizing mechanical instruments for extremity adjusting and spinal adjusting. He treats a variety of health issues from sports injuries to personal injury cases to every day low back pain. His hard work and dedication make him a great physician as he gives his best to patients and gets great results. He has enjoyed a long and happy marriage to June along with being a father to two beautiful daughters, one who is studying to be physical therapist and one that is a horse trainer. His hobbies include reading and racquetball.
Maureen LeBlanc has been involved with chiropractic for 16 years now. She first went to a chiropractor's office as a patient. The orthopedic doctor wanted to operate on her and she did not want to go through with that. She had already broken her back and could not imagine having to go through surgery. A friend from church kept bugging her until she went to the chiropractor. Miraculously enough, her condition improved and she did not need surgery. Maureen was so impressed that she sent many of her friends to that same chiropractor. She became a hit there at the office, so much so that they gave her a job. Because she had worked for the insurance companies before, she quickly became adept at seeing that the patient's claims got paid. She is the practice manager. Maureen sees her job as a challenge and loves every moment of it. Maureen is married and has 2 grown children. She loves animals and has a parrot and 2 Chihuahuas. She enjoys family time, baking, music and working out.
Courtney Poirier met Laura Janczak while she was a personal trainer at a local gym and Laura was giving a workshop.Shortly afterwards she became a patient to help with her neck and low back pain. She gets maintenance adjustments to keep in good health. Courtney loved the office and came aboard. She brought with her, not only a smiling face, but a professional health background as well. She has been a personal trainer and a cycling instructor. She loves hiking, running, and strength training. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies. Courtney has a thoughtful heart and is dedicated to helping others. Courtney married Nick in Sept 2005 and is enjoying the married life.
Dr. Beverley Marr
Dr. Beverley Marr attended and graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
Her undergraduate was at University of New Brunswick and her post graduate was served at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. She worked for some years as an interior desinger before changing careers and becoming a chiropractic Physician. She had always wanted to be a doctor and after much research and interviewing of doctors she found that chiropractors were the most fulfilled with their careers and patients results. Dr. Marr specializes in treating headaches, traumatic injuries, as well as equestrian injuries with the Diversified technique. She treats a variety of patients from infants to senior citizens and enjoys helping people live fuller lives due to the outstanding results they receive under care. She is happily married to her husband Chris who is a also a chiropractor and has a son who is currently attending college obtaining his law degree. Her hobbies include riding and showing horses, boating, and the fine arts.
